ASF Official Dies After Getting Hit by Aircraft Engine

February 21 - According to Geo News, an officer of Airports Security Force (ASF) died after getting struck by aircraft engine propeller blade at Sukkur Airport.

The officer had come out of aircraft when somehow he got hit by aircraft engine blade. He was rushed to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The aircraft had arrived at Sukkur Airport from Nawabshah.

According to Geo News it was PIA Cessna aircraft.

Probably a PIA Flight Academy Cessna 172N Skyhawk ?

What he was doing near the propeller and I know in cessna start engine usually happens after giving sign to marshal to clear prob.

It was Cessna 172 to PIA Academy doing training flight from Nawabshah to Sukker where ASF Chief and His wife were also taken onboard to DROP them on SOMEONE's request... Aircraft landed Sukker and Engine wasn't SHUT DOWN when ASF Cheif was allowed by Instructor to Leave Aircraft who went out and ACCIDENTLY his hand was CUT by Live Propeller. Extreme Bleeding took his life at the spot. Further Whats going on is trying to be Suppressed by Officials..
First of All WHY PIA C172 ON TRAINING FLIGHT was allowed to take ASF Chief and Wife onboard on Training flight. Why instructor allowed that even.. Breach...

ASF official dies in accident

KARACHI / SUKKUR, Feb 21: The Commanding Officer of the Airport Security Force (ASF) in Nawabshah, Tanweer Ahmed Khan, died after being hit at the Sukkur airport by the propeller of an aircraft of the PIA Training Academy on Thursday. He had traveled by the aircraft from Nawabshah.

The Civil Aviation Authority launched an investigation into the accident.

According to sources, the pilot / trainer, an under-training pilot and two ASF officials, including the deceased, were in the plane.

It was not clear why the ASF officials were traveling in a training aircraft, why its door was opened while the propellers were still rotating and what was the rush owing to which the deceased went so near the engine.

PIA spokesman Mashhood Tajwar said the pilot turned off the engine and Mr Khan got off the aircraft, but on the tarmac he was hit in the arm by the rotating propeller. He started to bleed and died before reaching a hospital.
