Looks awesome, great to see our private sector thriving. I am surprised by how quickly they received the a/c after going public regarding their intentions.

Where there is a will there is a way.

Shaheen Air wants to expand/update there fleet and they are getting what they need within the time want. On the other hand PIA from last year on floating tenders only and not able to update any of aircraft.

Better Luck Shaheen Air. I hope these updates benefits the passengers.

The first operator of this A320 was Spanair from 2003 to 2012. It flew for Spanair under Spanish registration EC-IPI.

Then in 2012 it was painted in FlyRAK livery but somehow FlyRak was unable to take its delivery.

Btw, according to information on following link, the A320 will be registered in Pakistan as AP-BJK for Shaheen Air.

http://www.planespotters.net/Production ... en-Air.php

But, registration AP-BJK was issued to a Schon Air Cessna 172M Skyhawk that was involved in an accident at Karachi Airport on October 1, 2009.

So, some other Pakistani registration must have been reserved for this Shaheen Air A320.

Great job Shaheen Air.

The vacum left by PIA is quickly being filled up by Shaheen.

I am constantly getting shocked with the fleet upgrade from Boeing 737-200s to Boeing 737-400s, A330-300s & now A320-200s.

How Shaheen Air is managing all the finance for the fleet upgrading?

Shaheen Air getting support from Zardari or some other "secret hidden hand" will be a lame excuse for PIA's own failures and downfall.

The fact is that properly managed privately-owned airlines like Shaheen Air with efficient and professional workforce are bound to succeed and prosper.
