Re: PIA Airbus A310-300 Fleet Status
AP-BDZ did not return to service after getting damaged during terrorist attack at Karachi Airport on June 8, 2014.
AP-BEC absent from duty since its engine fire incident on October 6, 2013.
AP-BGN probably grounded since July/August 2014.
AP-BEC continues to sport PIA markings on fuselage and Pakistan flag on tail. Following photo taken at Karachi Airport on June 15, 2015, by Muhammad Ali Yazdani (forum member Aer Pakistan).

Re: PIA Airbus A310-300 Fleet Status
Maybe there's some insurance claim issue with AP-BDZ and AP-BEC? And that's why these two A310s are retaining PIA markings till the settlement of insurance claim.
AP-BDZ was damaged during terrorist attack at Karachi Airport on June 8, 2014.
AP-BEC probably damaged due to engine fire incident on October 6, 2013.
BTW, AP-BGN was damaged by gunfire on June 24, 2014, when it was approaching for landing at Peshawar Airport. But she returned to service before going out of service in July or August 2014.
Maybe, there's also some sort of insurance claim for damage suffered by AP-BGN in June 24, 2014, attack?

BTW, AP-BDZ and AP-BEC will not fly back.
On 19th June, AP-BGN was last seen without engines, parked at JIAP, Karachi; most probably permanently grounded as of it's outlook.

Just scrap the retired A310's already and free up some space and get the much needed money.
