According to following advertisement in today's (August 6) newspaper, PIA is seeking to dry or damp lease a wide-body aircraft with seating capacity for 450 or more passengers.

Rao sb.. is unable to acquire the aircraft from last 4 months. Bids which were opened were also not upto the mark... Simply means supplier companies have lost confidence in PIA and GoP.

I think this bid is somehow going to get few offers. Namely the operators of 744 who want to retire the aircraft in favor of more fuel efficient airliners.

For once, not having suppliers for PIA should happen, to open the eyes of incompetent employees that this ship is sinking and unless they rise above personal interest, it aint going to avoid that
