July 24, 2012 - According to local news channels, engine number 2 of a PIA Boeing 777 suffered serious damage due to bird hit/ingestion when the aircraft was landing at Lahore Airport as flight PK-306 from Karachi.
The Boeing 777 has been grounded at Lahore Airport.
Information about exact variant of Boeing 777 and its registration not available at the moment.
