If ISB-MAN-ISB is direct, is Istanbul being dropped?

Quite off-topic, but I wanted to have a trip to Manchester in December.
However on karachi's departures I realized there's no direct KHI-MAN-KHI flight. Anyone know why? Thank you.

When exactly will these planes be arriving? And does anyone have any idea about the three new routes that will be launched, which Airblue indicated on their facebook page!

^ In September. Apparently the flight to Manchester will no longer be taking a stop in Turkey, that's one of the development associated with the arrival. Regarding new routes, we have to wait and see what they do. Most probably the new routes would be not the ones to gulf countries. Either European or far east

On their facebook page, they said they wont be dropping 'Istanbul' and it will be maintained with an onward connection in Europe. But after oct all flights from Istanbul are sold out. I really hope they start LGW to Islamabad.

Airblue online reservation system shows all the flights for Istanbul from 28october onwards as being sold out, which in my opinion cannot be true, does that mean istanbul is being dropped?

Airblue's Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/AirBluePakistan) has posted following statuses recently:

Quote:
We can confirm that Airblue will be serving two new destinations to UK. First is Birmingham and second will be London Luton. The London Luton route will be served via Istanbul.

Quote:
Airblue is trying to get a slot at the London's premier gateway London Heathrow and negotiations are underway for that. Lets hope Airblue get a slot so we could fly direct to Heathrow with Airblue.

Quote:
The decision for turbo props is delayed for some time as Airblue will focus on these new routes but the option to start some new local routes is not out of questions for example Lahore to Islamabad daily rotation. Still keep an eye on this space for updates

Quote:
The third destination which Airblue plans to serve will be Jeddah. This will start in coming weeks and the aircraft & other details will be shared shrotly.

Quote:
Airblue will be looking to increase flights to Manchester from other cities too and that will be announced in due course. Also other routes are under consideration.

Good news for England and overseas community there. Although i think Airblue should have also had one route from continental Europe as well.

Would Luton be able to handle the 343?

The post says London Luton will be served via Istanbul which means it might be A320 family aircraft similar to current Manchester operation
