ITS TIME to sell the Karachi airport terminal to Emirates...at least they will modernize it and make it world class

Jokes apart, Emirates is in airline business, not in developing airports. And why should they buy the terminal if they are already snatching the business out with existing facilities. Passengers select an airline on its service, not the terminal or airport its operates to/from.

Emirates advertisement in today's (July 31) newspaper.

"Fly 5 times a day from Karachi to Dubai.

Say hello to award-winning service and also enjoy special fares and discounts on Emirates Holidays"

According to the advertisement, Emirates is starting additional daily flight EK-609 from Karachi to Dubai from August 1, 2012 at 7:35PM.

LHR and DEL, 5 each.
Pakistan has 4th highest passenger load for EK after India, Saudi Arabia and UK.

If KHI would be able to handle A380 it would be a major advantage for EK

I dont think A380 would be that effective on a short haul flight like KHI-DXB

then they should consider a lounge in khi or even provide limousine service for j class if khi is such of imprtance to them.
the new flight means either there is still a lot to drain from pia with 777er or to kill any competition.
soon pia wont be even able to fill a 737 for dubai
