Re: CAA to Install New Radars
Pakistan CAA has installed Monopulse Secondary Surveillance Radar (MSSR) and Primary Surveillance Radar (PSR) at airports of Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore. This has extended the surveillance range at these airports from the earlier 200 nautical miles to 250 nautical miles with most advanced state-of-the-art radars.
Three more MSSR radars will also be soon installed at Rojhan, Pasni and Lakpass by mid 2018.
