I recently flew on a US Airways E 190 and found it to be a comfortable and reliable aircraft.
I guess it is a matter of perspective and the experience the crew provides.
By the way, I've wondered why Pakistani airlines in general don't operate more RJ's? Perhaps the load factors on many major routes are too high for the capacity that RJ's provide?
Perhaps, Hilal-e-Istaqlal should be hosted on SIAL building instead of Sialkot fort with broken boundary walls. Sialkotis are time and again proving that they well deserved the Hilal-e-Istaqlal.
Business community of Sialkot is planning to launch their own airline. Proposed name is "Iqbal Air". As per the news, airline would be operational from the mid of next year. For details, please see below the link.

I also cannot understand if a good and 3 time cheep plane is available in market why Pakistani airlines getting on lease or buying 3 time expensive BOEING & AIRBUS . We know that Embraer -190 have specific maintenance due to his advance technology but in start should try on wet lease .But our SHEHANSHAI ATTITUDE cannot change and like AIRBLUE will wet lease A320 from ukrain. MONEY is going outside of Pakistan this is lose. Think about development of company and country, buy cheep plane like E-195 and operate.Some time it seems that they are using airline(AIRBLUE) for 3d purpose ))

Sialkot: Local exporters have decided to launch a private airline with the collaboration of the Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL), local media reported.
Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) President Fazal Jilani told newsmen here on Wednesday that the airline – Sialkot International Airline – would be formally launched within the next two weeks.
He said it would be another mega project by the local businessmen after the establishment of the airport.
Jillani revealed that the export-oriented Sialkot city has successfully followed the examples of Japan, Germany, Korea, Taiwan and other countries in development of SME culture in Sialkot, as the Sialkot based SMEs have been producing only exportable items and enjoy special status in the international market for its products.
