AP-BGP is not active in November roster. Is it going under routine maintenance or also set to retire?

If they are retiring 2 A310s right now without any replacement at the moment, whilst also adding new routes. I wonder how are they going to fly those routes.

On October 28, PIA Lahore to Kuala Lumpur flight PK-898 suffered delay of more than nine hours because A310 registration AP-BGO scheduled to perform that flight arrived in Lahore hours late as flight PK-206 from Kuwait. AP-BGO had got stuck in Kuwait due to poor weather/visibility and apparently after departing from Kuwait landed in Karachi for some reason before resuming flight to Lahore.
Karachi; October 28, 2016

Due to fog and very low visibility in Kuwait this morning a PIA aircraft remained stuck there for several hours. As a repercussion PK-898 (Lahore to Kuala Lumpur) has been delayed by nine hours and would take off at 6pm. PIA call center is informing the passengers through phone calls and SMS on the numbers provided at the time of reservation. Any inconvenience in this regard is regretted.

They did add a333. Also 2 more a333 are coming hopefully.

They also floated tender for wet lease of aircraft

I know they added a 333 in August but 333s are not meant to replace 310s, rather than they are used to complement 777s. 310s need to be replaced with 321s,788 or 332s.

Why complement b777? We have enough b777 and that's why order switched from b777 to b787.

It's true that 300 seater doesn't replace 330 seater (Technically it is 400 seater, but PIA uses 70 less seats), it is still keeping fleet number steady.

That is a different discussion about what has been done and what needs to be done.
I also believe 333 shouldnt have permanent place in PIA fleet. 787 is better for the job.

What about the two Aero Mexico 777s that would have helped with the A310s going out of commission??

Maybe PIA can wet lease the Windrose A321s that Air Blue returned.

It might be a good idea to paint them all white so the general public does not figure it out.

Why all white? Is it not allowed to paint wet-leased aircraft?
They did it with PIA Premier.

As per latest information, AP-BEQ (A310) withdrawn from service and de-registered.

AP-BHN (ATR42) also permanently grounded.

PIA markings will be removed soon.
