Emirates may show interest in acquiring AP-BCD when PIA decides to sell/phase out its Boeing 737-300 fleet. AP-BCD can be preserved in first livery of Emirates at that airline's facilities in Dubai.

AP-BCD was one of two leased PIA aircraft with which Emirates was launched in 1985. The other PIA aircraft was Airbus A300 (AP-BBM) that was scrapped/broken-up at Karachi Airport in 2006.

I was just informed by my friend working with SAPS at KHI airport...that PIA has started to cannibalise its B737 Registration # AP-BCA. He said that PIA plans to cannibalise AP-BFT in the coming month. A D-Check is being performed on AP-BCB. This means that AP-BCB, AP-BCD, AP-BCF & AP-BEH will remain with PIA until at-least year 2015. No wonder PIA decided to annul its Tender Notice for Dry-Lease of 4 Boeing 737-400's.
