Its too early to tell u the reg of a/c operating mentioned flight on 20th june ....
Might tell u 2-3 days prior to the flight !!

Is it not breach of company security (and ethics too) to release such propriety information. THe acft scheduling info is also sensitive from security point of view.

TAILWIND is right. For flight safety reasons, it's better not to seek or share information about aircraft registration and crew before flight's departure/takeoff.

TAILWIND AND ABBAS BHAI

I agree with u partially bcz here in KSA specifically in JED airport on flight arrival and departure display screens, they were displaying whole day flights with aircraft reg.
If there was safety reasons how they displayed this information for public ... and every body knows the security strictness in KSA.

As far as I know, advance information about a flight's aircraft registration *if fallen into wrong hands* can be misused by people planning to use that flight to smuggle stuff like narcotics or planning to hijack that flight with the help of airport workers. Airport workers can use advance information for hiding a stowaway in landing gear or for hiding narcotics, weapons etc. in aircraft cabin before boarding process.

PIA seat map different between 77W, 772, 77L
yes every flight information show aircraft type all world for passenger need reserve seat number
777240ER 35 C Business class 329 Y Ecomony Class
777240LR 35 C Business class 310 Y Ecomony Class
777240LR lost 19 seats than 777240ER
my Thai Airways always show aircraft type and registration number same all other major airline same PIA from check in counter and TV screen flight information anywhere in world.

there could be many issues and arguments related to this. First and foremost, why should a passenger want to know the aircraft reg months or weeks in advance. As stated by Omar and Abdulaziz, displaying acft reg in the departure lounges is Ok as the pax have checked in and passed the security. Btw, I have never seen such info on airports I have been to.

Hashmax, I may not be able to add to your knowledge as I am still learning my steps in aviation however, IMO abbass has deliberated on the security issue in quite detail. But one thing I would like to add i.e who so ever has access to this information due to his position or job is bound not to disclose it.

last minute and last moment aircraft movement and aircraft type change from small to big and from big to small.
777LR PIA was not original schedule to Damman but aircraft schedule planning department changed because of 777240ER delay or repair or maintance or A310 or B747 or unknow.
same me what happen last Friday 13th April 2012 was bad luck day my flight TG971 original A340-600 gave me boarding card seat 12A Business class then flight manager told me very sorry that A340-600 60 Business Class seat changed to B747-400 HS-TGR 40 Business class seat then sent 17 Business Class transfer to LX181 Swiss Airlines A340-300 then two business class transfer to TG910 to LHR. They asked me transfer to Y Ecomony class or wait next day. I refused Y Ecomony Class then next day Saturday 14th April was good luck day got me First Class 1A and upgrade to my family to joined me on B777-300ER (India Jet Airways) HS-TKH very good private seat like Singapore Airlines A380 First Class and I visited cockpit met Thai pilot said B777300ER first time to Zurich because of Indonesia and Phuket earthquake that why passengers stranded and ran away escaped from Indonesia and Phuket that why flight overcrowed and mixed and mess up and changed of many aircraft and extra flight to europe.

Thai Airways B777300ER seat F 8 C 30 Y279 original fly to Tokyo NRT, Paris CDG, upgrade to Frankfurt FRA but have been visited ZRH Zurich 14th April and LHR Heathrow airport and FCO Rome but not enough C 30 Business seats. A340-500/600 better 60 C Business seats more available.
