Re: PIA to Increase Flights on Islamabad-Muscat and Peshawar-Riyadh Routes
Muscat: Pakistan nationals travelling from Muscat back home now have more options to choose from as Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has added two new routes.
Talking exclusively to Times of Oman, Shahzad Paracha, country manager of PIA said that the new destinations were added to the national carrier’s existing routes earlier this month. “On April 4 we added Lahore-Muscat as a new destination which will be flying three times a week. In addition to that, we will now be adding Islamabad-Muscat starting April 23 which will also be flying three times a week,” Paracha said.
PIA recently won the longest operating carrier award in Oman at the Oman Airport Awards 2019. It operates a weekly flight to Peshawar, and flies twice to Sialkot, Gwadar and Turbat in Pakistan from Muscat International Airport.
