Shaheen Air Flight from Riyadh Diverted to Lahore Due to Night Flight Operations Restriction at Peshawar Airport

According to news sources, on November 8 Shaheen Air flight NL-724 from Riyadh to Peshawar was advised to divert to Lahore because of restrictions against night flight operations at Peshawar Airport for security reasons.

The fligth NL-724 performed by Shaheen Air Airbus A330-200 (AP-BML) had departed from Riyadh at 12:57 PM with a delay of nearly three hours. The flight's scheduled departure time from Riyadh was 10:00 AM. Its scheduled arrival time in Peshawar was 4:00 PM.

The A330 flew holding pattern between 6:25 PM and 6:41 PM near Peshawar Airport before diverting to Lahore where it landed at 7:23 PM.
