Wreckage of AP-AUX photographed lying near Badaber (Badhaber) Nullah, Sheikh Muhammadi village, 5 miles south-east of Peshawar Airport. On October 23, 1986, AP-AUX was operating PIA flight PK-672 from Lahore to Peshawar when it struck ground after pilot descended the aircraft below Minimum Descent Altitude (MDA) 400 feet during final approach at night to Peshawar Airport. There were 5 crew members and 49 passengers aboard the aircraft. Sadly 4 crew members and 9 passengers lost their lives in this accident
